Volcanic Catastrophes and Human Evolution — Dr Victor Gostin
Eruption of two super-volcanoes during the last 200,000 years has significantly influenced human prehistory. Toba, in Sumatra, erupted some 73,000 yrs ago, then the Campanian eruption 40,000 yrs ago had huge effects on our human heritage; the latter with the extinction of our close relatives - the Neanderthal humans, whose genes many of us bear.

To celebrate Adyar Day we look at a DVD conversation with Krishnamurti, Dr. David Bohm a Quantum Physicist and Dr. David Shainberg a Psychologist followed by a discussion on how we use our brain.  Most of us are unaware of the way we use the brain - it is fragmented and we do not see the relationship with this fact nor the condition of the world and that we create our own problems and then try to solve them using the same brain set.

The Worship of the Sacred Feminine in South and Central America — Annie McKenzie
Through her frequent travels to these lands Annie has become familiar with the honouring of the Sacred Mother in daily life. She will share her knowledge and personal experiences of her times with the indigenous people and their close connection to the "Mother". She will also discuss the "Black Madonnas" of these Cultures.
