Tonight’s talk looks at the various paradoxes in the Monolithic Religions. The Quran and the Bible both talk about an “eye for an eye” but they qualify this principle by saying it is best to forgive. We all know an “eye for an eye” practised fanatically would make the whole world blind. What the world needs now more than ever before is love, forgiveness and inspirational conduct aimed at achieving peace and prosperity by mediation and consultation.
