and discussion This evening's DVD about the Buddha Part1 will provide much food for discussion. (46.15mins) This visually rich portrayal of the Buddha's life narrated by Richard Gere, depicts the story of the son of a King who went by the name Siddharta Gautama whose transformation came about as he ventured away from the life of privilege he had been born into - out into the real world outside in which he saw pain suffering and death. He set off wanting to know the full story- the full truth about this mystery we call life and found enlightenment

Problem of Evil- a Theosophical Perspective”- presented by Brian Harding, National Lecturer and President, Brisbane Lodge of The Theosophical Society. This is a subject that many avoid yet evil obviously exists in our world. Following an overview of religious, philosophical and psychological ideas, we will look at how Theosophy can help us understand the origin and operation of evil - expanding our awareness and deepening our understanding of our path in life in this world.
