7pm “"Discussion and Supper Evening - Theosophy and The Theosophical Society" – facilitated by Carmen French and Janet Blake

Topics we will be contemplating are - what does theosophy mean to me, what role and value does The Theosophical Society have in my life, what extra role and/or function could The Theosophical Society fulfill? 





2nd Thursday of the Month is Meditation Evening !

5.45pm for a 6pm start – Meditation with Woody.

Please arrive in time to begin at 6pm. Doors will be closed until 6.30pm

7pm “Love and How Love Manifests in Life Experiences - Barbara Fingleton” – interviewed by Naomi Alexander

7pm “DVD, Supper and discussion 

This evening's DVD about the Buddha Part1 will provide much food for discussion. (46.15mins)

This visually rich portrayal of the Buddha's life narrated by Richard Gere, depicts the story of the son of a King who went by the name Siddharta Gautama whose transformation came about as he ventured away from the life of privilege he had been born into - out into the real world outside in which he saw pain suffering and death. He set off wanting to know the full story- the full truth about this mystery we call life and found enlightenment  






7pm “The Science and Metaphysics of The Crystalline Kingdom”-  Carmen French, President, Sunshine Coast Lodge of The Theosophical Society”

This evening Carmen French leads us in an adventure of discovery into the fascinating realms of the kingdom of crystals..

6pm for 6.15pm supper – soup and bread will be provided by Carmen and Janet. Please bring a plate of food to compliment the soup - eg cheeses / nuts / sweet delight / other simple tasty sensations

7pm “The Problem of Evil- a Theosophical Perspective”- presented by Brian Harding, National Lecturer and President, Brisbane Lodge of The Theosophical Society. 

This is a subject that many avoid yet evil obviously exists in our world. Following an overview of religious, philosophical and psychological ideas, we will look at how Theosophy can help us understand the origin and operation of evil - expanding our awareness and deepening our understanding of our path in life in this world.
